2020 was a hard year on everybody. Politics, friends, relationships... everything.
Agonizingly slow months never passing and even slower days dragging on forever
over and over.
Never ending hours. Never ending days.
"The Hours Pile Up" drones on like an incessant clock as we all went insane.
"Conquistadors and Kings" is about just how powerless mankind always has been against pandemics.
"I Despise Being Told" is simply about the garbage pouring out of both sides in the media.
"The Ironbound" is daydreaming about life the way it used to be 200 years ago.
"Mask" is literally meant to be sung from the perspective a mask must have.
"I'm Tired of This" is about being fed up with all the anger and hate growing in the world.
"Desperately" is a love song about people driven crazy from being locked down for so long.
"Summer Skies" is about my patio. The only space I could go to get away from everything.
"I Need to Know" is love song about people with the pandemic wearing on them.
There's a lot more acoustical work than I usually do here.
Grab a glass of wine.
